Welcome to the Inland House on the western shore of Crooked Lake in Conway, Michigan. The location is ideally situated five miles from historic Petoskey, three miles to Petoskey State Park, and a block to the North Western State Trail, a 32-mile hike and bike path from M-119 to Mackinaw City! The North Western State Trail connects to the Little Traverse Wheelway, a 26-mile paved path that skirts the water’s edge from Charlevoix through Bay Harbor, Petoskey and into Harbor Springs.
For winter sports, Nub's Nob and the Highlands are only six miles away!
The Inland House is a two-building condominium community. Phase I consists of Units 1-20; Phase II consists of Units 22-37. Unit 21 is centrally located in the lower level, accessed through Phase II or the south parking lot, and is used for owner bike storage and a laundry center. Unit 38 in Phase II is the Owner Community Room, which can be reserved for events on our Community Room Reservations page.
Our community features a deeded dock with each unit, kayak racks, a sandy beach, fire pit, bike storage, gas grills, and a courtyard with ample seating options to enjoy the beauty of Crooked Lake.
Many owners rent their units for part or all of the year using popular rental platforms such as airbnb, VRBO, Furnished Finder, and others. The Inland House Condominium Association is not responsible for rental agreements between owners and their renters, and does not facilitate overnight stays.

Crooked Lake is part of the Inland Waterway, Michigan’s longest chain of rivers and lakes, spanning 38.2 miles through Pickerel and Crooked Lakes, along the Crooked River, through Burt Lake, the Indian River, Mullett Lake, the Cheboygan River, and eventually into Lake Huron at Cheboygan. Navigation on the Crooked River generally limits boats to 25 feet with a 5 foot draft. The route features the Cheboygan River Lock and the Crooked River Lock. A stay at the Inland House is the perfect home base to explore the Inland Waterway, as well as the many charming Northern Michigan towns surrounding Conway.
